Abstract
Description
La présente invention concerne un dispositif destiné à coucher au sol etThe present invention relates to a device for sleeping on the ground and
These wind turbines are formed of an unmounted tubular mast, a nacelle in which is installed among others the generator of current, a rotor which includes the blades of wind turbines. Its rotor has a horizontal axis and its blades can be of any size. This invention makes it possible to install high-power wind turbines in cyclonic zones that are currently prohibited for them. It also makes it possible to install this type of wind turbine in places where lifting means are limited, such as islands or developing countries.
It finally makes it possible quickly and surely to carry out heavy maintenance operations without waiting for lulls of wind. In a general way this invention can be applied to all similar constructions having nothing to do with the wind turbines. JP 622821 78 A and FR2 823 784 A describe wind turbines whose mast is guyed and has a single joint close to the ground which allows to fold the mast to the ground in the event of strong wind.
The devices described comprise an auxiliary mast and a cable system connecting the two masts, the handling of which is very difficult in the case of large wind turbines or unmounted masts. US 2005095130 discloses wind turbines whose unmounted mast has two separate joints that can fold the wind turbine head to the ground in case of strong wind. The described device comprises a cylinder system difficult to implement for very large machines with a reasonable cost. The maneuvers are delicate in high winds. The difficulties in the case of large wind turbines come from extremely large bending moments which lead to constraints in the above cases which are acceptable only for small wind turbines. The tilting and mounting structure, which is the subject of this patent application, makes it possible to minimize these stresses and moments of force while minimizing the footprint, which makes it possible to maneuver for large machines. In addition this structure provides great stability during maneuvers This structure consisting of two goats, one mobile and the other fixed to three feet reduces traction forces to 0.8 times the weight of the wind turbine. So if we wanted to wind the wind turbine only with the fixed goat traction would be 2.5 to 3 times the weight of the wind turbine. On the other hand, if we only wanted to wind the wind turbine with the mobile goat, we would have to place the lifting winch at a distance of twice the height of the mast. Nevertheless to achieve all the possibilities of the invention it was necessary to integrate to these two goats many complementary and indispensable elements. It is this whole coherent and inseparable whole that constitutes the "device" that is the subject of this patent application. This device consists of eight indissociable main elements that will be found in the figures .-- A mobile goat levering. of a goat's head and two hips with both feet articulated. The assembly forming a triangle and located in front of the foundation of the mast, at a distance minimizing the efforts on the mitt, so that it spans the mast when the latter is lying, the goat's head being under the blades when the mast is standing.-A fixed goat serving as point of draw.Featured of a head of goat of two hips whose two feet are hinged (for the The set forming a triangle whose dimensioning is given by the calculation.A pillar integral with the goat head and the base support mast is the third foot of the goat fixed. to the embodiments described and shown without departing from the invention. - A hoist consisting of two mittens. Each goat's head is equipped with a mittens. The cable of these mittens passes into the pillar and is pulled by a winch. A double-row pulley tensioner holds the cables between the two mittens. A damping cylinder system of position pilot this tensioner. - A masthead which is a sturdy interlayer placed between the top of the mast and the nacelle. This interlayer transmits the forces to the mast without deforming it. - A muffle mast link consisting of rods or crossed cables, to protect the mast against possible lateral thrusts. - Two hinged plates that allow the tilting of the wind turbine. The movable platen is secured to the mast, the fixed platen is secured to the base. These plates are equipped with a locking system that keeps the vertical wind turbine as solidly as if it were on its concrete foundation. In unlock position the wind turbine can switch. Cylinders between the two plates are necessary to force the wind turbine to leave its vertical position during the drawdown and to receive the wind turbine smoothly when lifting - A base that is sized to support the mast and possibly the pillar of the goat fixed. It is high enough that once folded wind turbine blades are glued to the ground. It houses the cylinders for tilting of the mast as well as the locking mechanisms, the winch, and more generally the equipment for the proper functioning of the assembly The concrete foundations that include the conventional foundation of the mast specified by the manufacturer as well as the foundations Goat's feet and their links. Detailed descriptions of these elements will be presented in the pages following the list of figures.
Any fixed wind turbine can become cyclonic and vice versa. Indeed the concrete foundation, the mast, the nacelle, and the blades remain the same. These are industrial supplies - tipping movements will be safe, progressive, smooth, easy to manage and automate - on-site installation will be dramatically simplified. The tilting structures are specially designed to fit in place without significant lifting means. Then this tilting structure will serve as a heavy handling structure to assemble and set up the wind turbine itself. The complementary and inseparable constituent elements of the device, object of this invention, are specific designs, often innovative. They are described in detail below - The movable goat head (5-4), see Figures 6 and 7, receives the 60 T of the mitt (5-5) and the axis (5). -7), transfers this force, on the one hand to the mast 2 by means of the rods (8-2) and their mooring (5-8) and on the other hand to the whole goat (5) using the spacers (5-9) integral with the structure 15 of the goat head. This structure of the goat's head is solid and very rigid, so that the hips (5-3), screwed on the flanges (5-11) of the head, have the least possible bending stresses. The tubes of the head are thicker than those of the hips. These hips only need to work on compression, to have good buckling outfits. The muffle (5-5), see Figure 7, is traversed by the axis (5-7) it is positioned and stabilized by the pin (5-12) trappon (5-13) allows to exit the axis (5-7) All this compact set is housed and sheltered in this goat's head. The transfers of force are without parasitic constraints with a relatively light structure.
Mittens (5-5) and (6-5) are very specific and play an important role in the device that is the subject of this patent application. Concrete drawings and sizing will be made in the patent application. It is a muffle with a large number of pulleys (5 to 10) to use a cable fm and a winch of medium importance. The pulleys are large diameter mounted on large ball bearings (or other) these bearings are assembled on thick mechanical tubes, whose inner diameters can receive the axis (5-7) All these pulleys are separated by partitions carriers, machined and assembled with the bearings on the "thick mechanical tube". The assembly is mounted by threaded rods and clamping rings on the thick tube and in this muffle it is impossible for a cable to pass from one pulley to another. A central lubrication of the bearings is planned the surplus will be channeled on the cables. This design is interesting because it allows to accommodate the mitt (5-5) inside the heads of goat (5-4) and (6-4) around the axis (5-7) precisely where we have need the forces to transfer. A tenon secured to the mitt, allows it to be positioned in the goat's head and prevented from turning during maneuvers. The two mittens (5-5), see Figure 6, are in facing position accurately, the axes (5-7) of the two heads, are parallel and perfectly perpendicular to the cable mittens. -The goat head fixed (6-4), see Figure 6 is identical to the movable head (5-4) This one is equipped in addition to a tensioner with double pulley trains (6-8) and a positioner cylinder and shock absorber (6-9) The joints of the two "robust" flanges of these tensioners (6-8), take the place of the moorings (5-8) of the rods (8-2) on the axis (5- 7) similar to the head (5-4 see) -Figure 7 These accessories are essential to avoid many mechanical problems (breakage, vibration, deformation ...). Indeed in vertical position and production nacelle (3), see Figure 1, is subjected to very significant efforts, the top of the mast normally bent and moves several tens of centimeters in the direction of the wind. This represents several centimeters at the moorings (5-8) of the rods or cables (8-2), see Figure. If the wind is in front of the rods (8) will have play and tap along the mast (very destructive). If the wind is from behind it is the opposite, the top of the mast (7-1) will violently pull the movable goat head well beyond the elastic limits of the various links. The assembly (6-8) and (6-9) allows to very quickly correct all tensile variations in any direction of the wind. In horizontal position during cyclones the cables should not be too tight to avoid forces 1 / tg Alpha The sets (6-8) and (6-9) will have to handle the vibrations, the jolts, the changes of direction, the role shock absorber becomes preponderant. Operating parameters will be defined in both cases they will be reproducible but different. The cylinder (6-9) is equipped with a position reader. The damping cylinders (6-9) could be replaced or supplemented by springs and mechanical dampers.
- The pillar (6-1), see Figure 1 and 6, is the 3 foot of the goat fixed (6) it is integral with the head (6-4) with the articulated connection (6-10). Designed to simplify installation on site (see following pages) The base of the end of the head (6-4) rests half on a cradle welded to the top of the pillar (6-1). Two curved profiles in (U) are to cover the other half of the tip of the head (6-4) (not shown, just at the levels of the spacers (5-9) Figure 6 (The heads 5-4 and 6-4 are These U are then securely bolted to the cradle, during tilting operations, this pillar is subjected to tensile forces of approximately 80 T The base of the pillar is either bolted to the base 10 or connected to the base 10 The inside of the pillar is the cable (5-6) which goes from the muffle (6-5) to join the winch (10-3). welded which allows access to the top of goat heads (5-4) and (6-4) for interventions on mittens (5-5 (and (6-5), cable (5-6) axes (5-7) the mooring lines (5-8) the tensioner (6-8) of the "cylinder" (6-9), without forgetting the periodic greasing of all these elements, the manholes and the conveniences of access are not represented - The articulated feet Goats, see Figure 1, are essential for the functioning of the goat (5). Those of the fixed goat (6) are interesting for the 1 installation and the heavy maintenance of the whole. These feet (5-1) and (5-2) rest on the same concrete base (11-2) see Figures (1) and (5). The vertical forces are supported without problem by cons lateral forces are important and in some cases we will use structures (11-3) and (11-4) that work on traction. - The mast head (7), see Figure 1, is a sturdy spacer placed between the top of the mast (2) and the nacelle (3) the axis (7-1) receives the 60 T of the mitt (5-5 ). The interlayer transmits these forces to the mast without deforming it.
10 - Mast block link (8), they transmit the 60 T of mitt (5-5) to the mast head (7). These links consist of rods or crossed cables, to protect the mast against possible lateral thrusts during maneuvers. Note: in Figure 1, side view, the angle formed between the rods or cables (8) and the axis of the mast (2) is slightly greater than 3 is sufficient for the back winds because the two rods 15 work together. In Figure 4 seen from the rear, the angle formed between the rods (8) and the axis of the mast (2) is 3.36, it is too weak for the side winds because there is only one rod that works at a time. In a practical realization we will have to increase these angles.
Some specific elements have yet to be specified. . The male holes (9-3) of the plates (9-1) and 9-2) are reinforced by thick welded cylinders. Thus, instead of weakening the plates with the manholes, they are strongly consolidated thanks to the thick cylinders (9-3) An optimization by C.A.O. will reduce the thicknesses of (9-1), (9-2) and (9-3). The hinge shown symbolically in Figures 8 and 9 is subjected to significant efforts during the tilting, about 100 tons to 45, the base 10 is subjected to a horizontal force of 70 T. With a height of 5 m the base is subject to a bending moment of 350 Tm; During the normal operation of the wind turbine the torques are 4 to 5 times larger. Nevertheless this hinge must be very solid over the entire 30 meters. The plates (9-1) and (9-2) must be specially reinforced outside the circle of the base of the mast. These reinforcements are symbolized by the reference numeral (10-5) in FIGS. 1 and 8 and 9-34 in FIGS.
The need for this locking is due to the fact that the bending moment that the mast must bear at the flange (2-1) is at most 1200 and 1500 Tm. Or it is impossible to hold the wind turbine, pulling 60 T on the rods (8) with the muffle (5-5) generates only a maximum moment of 276 Tm. The mast is secured on the flange (2-1) by 120 bolts of 15 T, ie 1800 T in total ,. The locking of the movable plate (9-1) on the fixed plate (9-2) must therefore withstand at least equivalent stresses. The system presented in this patent application comprises 60 locking pins of 30 T each (that is 1800 T in total) Figures (8,9,10,11,12). The principle of locking these pins, Figure 10 is seen from below the fixed plate (9-2)
The locking ring (9-21) Figures 10,11,123 has a diameter slightly less than the inner diameter of the base (10). Its width is 150 mm and its thickness of 40 mm (for example) The 60 machining of this locking ring, let the pins (9-18) through the holes (9-22) in the unlocked position. Then lock them in (9-23) and turn them on with the inclined milling (9-24) in the locked position. At this stage of the project, we estimate that the torque needed to maneuver this locking ring is at least 150 TM. In order not to deform this crown, this torque of 150 Tm will be produced by 20 jacks (9-25). The binding (9-28) is secured to the ring (9-21). The binding (9-26) is secured to the fixed plate (9-2). The adjustable spring balls (9-27) are intended to support the 450 kg of the ring (9-21) and to press on the underside of the plate (9-2). The sliding surface (9-2) - (9-21) will be carefully greased. The adjustable stops (9-29) position the crown, the locks (9-30) immobilizes it in the locked position. For the 60 pins secured to the plate (9-2) fit well into the holes (9-11). fixed platen (9-2) during the vertical position of the mast (2). It is essential to optimize the position (9-6) of the axis (9-5). (In our example at 250 mm from the edge of the mast (2) and in the bottom alignment of (9-2) see Figures 8 and 9. With regard to, the passage of these locking pins (9-18) in the holes (9-22) of the crown (9-21) is more delicate because they are necessarily smaller than the holes (9-11) of the fixed plate (9-2) This is possible because the "position "Of the locking ring (9-21) is floating on 5 to 15 mm for example with respect to the plate (9-2) It is the lock pins with their conical nuts (9-18) which best position the crown (9-21) .Thus the "optimal position of the crown" (9-21) at the beginning of the introduction of the pions near the hinge (Alpha = 65, is slightly different from the final "optimal position" (alpha = 90) vertical mast -The design of the locking pins and their positions, make it possible to simplify the mechanical assemblies and to considerably reduce the mechanical stresses at the level of the mobile Latin (9-1) and fixed (9-2). see Figure (11 and 12) The "pins" are screwed into the movable plate (9-1) using the threads (9-14) and the hexagonal section (9-15). These pieces are hard steel and resilient. The threads (9-13) are intended to receive the bolts M30 fixing the flange (2-1) of the mast (2). Half of the bolts of the mast are screwed directly into the pins, the other half into the plate (9-l) The shoulder (9-16) of the pin corresponds to the machining (9-23) of the crown (9 - 21)) -Figure 10 in the locked position. The washer (9-17) will be solicited at the time of locking and unlocking maneuvers. It must be very hard and have a low coefficient of friction with the crown (9-21) The nut (9-18) allows a "calibrated" clamping in the locked position, stopped by the pin (9-19), its machining in cone allows the pin to position itself the locking ring. These locking pins are of two types, those recessed (9-20) for receiving the end (9-8) of the rods of the tilt cylinders (9-7) Figure 12 (see below) and those in peak (9-35) Figure 11. This tip machining (9-35) is preferable for the pins closest to the hinge axis (9-6). In case of damage these pieces are easy to change at the flange (2-1) of the mast (2), it unscrews the bolt M30 which corresponds to the tapping (9-13) of the peg to be changed. In upright position, pulling with the winch (10-3) unlocks the crown, we get the pin using the pinned hex nut (9-18) the whole piece can go out. In horizontal position the hexagonal profile (9-15) is used which is much more resistant. In the event of an incident, it is always possible to tighten or loosen the nuts (9-18) 15 - The tilt cylinders (9-7) Figures 8,9,12 with the number between 10 and 14 are necessary to allow the mast to leave its vertical position and return to it regardless of the wind direction up to 20 m / s. With this design, the cylinders (9-7) exert their thrusts, directly under the locking pins, themselves in direct relationship with the bolts for fixing the mast in the tapping (9-13) .In these devices there is few intermediaries and therefore few unnecessary constraints. The mark (9-10) Figure 12 symbolizes two adjustable wedges of the position x and y of the end (9-8) of the cylinder (9-7) "rod output" so that the return the locking pin find his cylinder rod where he left it when leaving (0 ± 10 or 15 mm near)
The tilting operation is as follows. The blades are immobilized, the platform is oriented so that the blades once the wind turbine lying down is on the ground. The winch pulls heavily on the mast to facilitate unlocking. One unlocks, one pushes with the lifting cylinders, one releases the winch progressively. When the position of the center of gravity causes the wind turbine to go down alone, it is held with the winch, we enter the 30 lifting cylinders, we slowly arrive in a supine position on the mast support, we attach the mast on its support, the manhole is closed as well as the holes of the locking pins (see below) and the passage of the cables. Conversely, the mast being on the ground, the blades immobilized in the specified position namely a blade in the extension of the mast. The mobile goat operated by the hoist pulls the mast by means of rods 35 or crossed cables. These rods or cables being fixed to the intermediate plate. The mast tilts on its base by means of two hinge plates, one secured to the mast, the other secured to the base. When the mast is close to the vertical position the cylinders come out to dampen the arrival in the vertical position. When the hinge is closed, the locking system makes it possible to fix the mast on its base. This wind turbine tilting device, the subject of this patent application, was "among others" designed to radically simplify its precise installation on site without any major means of lifting.
10 15 20 25 30 355 We can proceed in many ways and adopt the following chronology: The assembly Base (10) and platinum hinge (9) is delivered on site, assembled complete with winch and locking mechanisms and lifting, tested in the workshop. The flange (10-1) is firmly bolted to the concrete pad (11-1). The winch (10-3) is delivered with a construction cable. The temporary light cable and the final cable (5-6) are delivered on separate reels. The winch is electrically connected. It participates in the assembly The goat is assembled flat, the head on a horizontal beam 0.5 m from the ground. The goat head (6-4) is delivered fully equipped and tested. The hips (6-3) are centered on either side of the base 10, they are bolted to the head (6-4) perfectly horizontal on the beam. The two articulated feet (5-2) are bolted to the two horizontal concrete blocks (11-2). The pillar (6-1) is attached to the goat's head (6-4) thanks to its articulated attachment (6- 15). 10). Thus the head (6-4) and the connection (6-10) of the pillar (6-1) are found at 0.5 m from the ground and 9 m from the rear of the base (10), the foot of the pillar (6-1) is 20 m away. The mobile goat (5) is assembled 1.5 m above the goat (6) thanks to two double cradles (provisional) fixed on horseback (6-3) and (6-4) The two articulated feet (5 -1) of the mobile goat are bolted to the two concrete pads (11-2) The hips (5-3) are centered on both sides of the base (10) The upper parts of the hips rest on the "cradles" "provisionally fixed on the goat (6) The goat's head (5-4) is positioned on the cradle, against the hips (5-3) and bolted. The goat head (5-4) must be perfectly horizontal, parallel and centered on the fixed goat head (6-4). At this stage, the links (8) can easily be connected to the mobile goat head ( 5-8) For this the links (8) were delivered to the site with the hips (5-3). Each hip delivered 25 with its link (8) securely circled. Everything is planned so that by releasing the "strapping" higher, we can make these connections manually. The forces exerted on the beam at 0.5 m above the ground by the two goat heads and the pillar are about 10 tons. To pass the light cable in the pulleys of the mittens (5-5) and (6-5) it is the ideal situation, the heads (5-4) and 6-4) are positioned correctly to 1.5 m the one of the other 30 and close to the ground perfectly horizontal and parallel. This is a manual operation, made with the temporary light cable much more flexible and much lighter than the final cable. This cable will also carry out some handling maneuvers and put in place the final cable. The light cable is on a drum in the base (10), it comes out (10-2), 29 meters further it enters 35 in the foot of the pillar (6-1) it passes in the pillar (always close from the ground) it comes out at the level of the block (6-5), it is passed manually in the pulleys of the mittens (6-5) and (5-5), close to each other, it passes by the pillar (6-1) it comes out and returns to the base (10), its end is temporarily immobilized near the winch (10-3) To put in place permanently the two heads of goat (5-4) and (6-4) ) at 20 and 22 m from the ground can be practiced as follows: the foot of the pillar (6-1) is screwed on a hinged support secured to a tray rolling on the ground (or on profiles) The winch (10- 3) with 2 construction mittens are attached to this tray A forklift raises the two heads of goat to 6 or 8 m above the ground. Then it is the winch with a hoist that will raise the two heads and the top of the pillar up to 20 m by pulling the tray to the base (10) Solid guides of the base allow to position accurately the foot the pillar at its final fixings on the base in (10-2). The winch (10-3) is released from its construction cable. The two ends of the light cable always pass into the pillar and lead directly into the base10, the first is always connected to the drum, the other end is fixed on the drum of the winch (10-3) The winch rewinds the entire cable provisionally contained by the drum through the pulleys of the two mittens. The end of this cable is connected to the level of the winch (10-3) By going through the inner ladder of the pillar one can go securely block the connection (6-10) on the head (6-4). A sling is temporarily passed around the goat's head (5-4). With this sling and a construction winch we will gradually move the goat (5) away from the goat (6), dragging the cable mittens. When the hips (5-3) are vertical, the links (8) are released from their lower rims on both hips (5-3). The moving goat (5) continues to be lowered when it is in the configuration of FIG. 3. If the mast is in place, it is possible to definitively connect the ends (8-2) of the links (8) to the moorings (7). -1) of the "Pole Mast" insert (7) If the mast is not in place, it can be done with the device itself. First the temporary sling attached to the head (5-4) is securely attached to the cradle (11-5) so that by a wrong maneuvering the moving goat (5) will not smash on the goat (6). ) Then specific hooking means are passed around the mast at its center of gravity, the goat is lowered and the ends (8,2) of the links (8) are hooked on the specific means of mooring. goat (5) with the winch (10,3) and the light cable The mast is suspended at its center of gravity, it is then easy to put it in place and permanently fix the 120 bolts (for example) of its flange (2-1) on the hinge plate (9-1) To connect the spacer (7) to the mast, proceed in the same way but with the safety sling, always attached to (11-5). finally crossing them, the links (8) on the insert (7). The nacelle (3) and the blades (4) can also be mounted and disassembled in a similar manner with modest specific mounts but with the cable (5-6) defmitive With the light cables the mast alone (15 T instead from 54) to (7-1) this is an interesting and risk free first try. Once the mast is vertical and locked, if everything is normal, we put the defmitive cable still on his drum. The end of the temporarily immobilized construction cable near (10-3) is connected very seriously to the end of the defmitive cable. An observer is posted at the level of the 2 mittens (5-5) and (6-5) the winch (10-3) gradually passes the final cable through the mittens when the end of the final cable (5-6) arrives at the level of the winch (10-3) the light cable is rewound on its drum, the cable (5-6) is connected to the drum of the winch (10-3) and the entire defmitive cable is rewound through the pulleys of the mittens (6-5) and (5-5) The end of the definitive cable is fixed very firmly at the level of the mitt (6-5) With this cable it is possible to set up the nacelle and the whole of the device will be operational. 10 15 20 25 30 35
