Abstract
Description
La constructionThe present invention relates to the field of boating. Construction
This has the consequence in extreme wind and sea conditions to cause the rotation of the hull to capsize, jeopardizing the safety of sailors. The device according to the invention disengages the propulsion unit from the hull and allows each of these two sets to have an independent behavior. The wing and ballast assembly forms a plane that can rotate three hundred and sixty degrees around the float without any interaction with it. The device provides for the hull or float the establishment of an axis of rotation to the bow and stern of the hull. A metal structure, external to the hull, ensures the mechanical strength of the propulsion system (mast, shrouds, boom, sails, ballast). It is articulated around two axes of rotation of the float by means of two bearings, the rear bearing and the front bearing which transmits the propulsive force to the hull. A system for adjusting the friction force between these two assemblies, located on the front bearing, makes it possible to configure the ship according to three modes of operation: zero friction force: normal position, main object of this invention. maximum friction force: this restores the bond between the two elements and restores a classic keelboat sailboat behavior. - Intermediate friction force: during variations of inclinations of the wing, the inclination of the float will be damped and will return to its normal position, the damping being a function of the adjustment of the friction force. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: Figure 1 shows the hull or float of the sailboat. Figure 2 shows the propulsion unit of the sailboat. Figure 3 shows the sailboat in its final configuration. With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a shell (1), each end of which is equipped with an axis of rotation (2) and (3). The rig composed of the stay (7), the mast (4), the stays (5), the backstay (6) is supported by a metal structure composed of an upper half-beam (8) connected by two arches side members (10) to the lower beam (9) supporting the ballast (11) and including the motor shaft outlet and the rudder. The front bearing (12) receives the attachments of the strut (7), the upper half-beam (8), the lower beam (9), it consists of a conical roller bearing for rotation and rotation. transmission of the propulsive force.
This bearing supports a disk rotating between the jaws of a yoke secured to the axis of rotation (2), the clamping pads may be operated mechanically or hydraulically so as to satisfy the three modes of operation described. on page 1. The rear bearing (13), receives the fasteners of the backstay (6), the lower beam (9), it consists of a ball bearing. This invention is likely to offer, by shipbuilding, a new type of sailboat to the public.
