Selon la figure 2/3, ce système forme un parallélogramme déformable sous l'effet de l'inclinaison du cycle ou/et du devers de la chaussée et maintient, d'une part le plateau mobile 2 et les biellettes 6 parallèles entre eux et, d'autre part le carter 1 et la roue 5 parallèle au plan de la roue du cycle.
