Abstract
The structure comprises a network of electrically conductive electrodes (2), a dielectric layer (3), a network of barriers (4) and a network of luminophores (7) positioned between the barriers. The materials used for the dielectric layer (3), the network of barriers (4) and a possible black layer (5) which forms the top of the barriers are made of mixtures of a mineral oxide powder, having an average particle size of between 0.2 and 10 mu m and a melting or softening temperature greater than 550 DEG C, a mineral oxide material having very fine particles with characteristic dimensions of less than 0.2 mu m, and an oxide glass having a softening temperature of less than 520 DEG C. The proportion of each of the aforementioned constituents is specific to each of the three elements in the structure. The method for producing one such structure comprises only one final firing step, at between 400 and 520 DEG C.
