L'utilisation d'un article d'essuyage souple pose le problème de son rangement après usage dans un emballage, celui-ci se présentant le plus généralement sous forme d'une pochette, afin pendant la période de sa non utilisation, soit de préserver l'article d'essuyage des salissures pouvant être provoquées par son environnement immédiat (fond de sac ou fond de poche d'un vêtement lorsqu'il s'agit par exemple d'un essuie-verres de lunettes), soit de protéger son environnement immédiat des salissures que l'article d'essuyage peut lui même provoquer de par sa nature avant ou après usage (dans le cas par exemple d'un article d'essuyage imprégné d'un cirage pour entretenir le cuir). Le rangement par l'utilisateur d'un article d'essuyage dans une pochette implique, dans l'état de la technique actuelle, un processus comportant, dans le meilleur des cas, deux opérations se décomposant en plusieurs gestes: il faut dans un premier temps opérer le pliage de l'article d'essuyage en effectuant autant de plis (croisés ou parallèles) jusqu'à ce que la surface de l'article d'essuyage une fois complétement plié soit inférieure à la surface utile de la pochette devant contenir l'article d'essuyage; dans un second temps il faut opérer l'insertion de l'article d'essuyage dans la pochette en tenant d'une main la pochette et de l'autre l'article d'essuyage en effectuant un mouvement de translation-glissement de celui-ci dans le corps intérieur de la pochette. Ces opérations prennent du temps, s'avèrent le plus souvent mal aisées car elles nécessitent pour un pliage effectué par un utilisateur peu habile un plan de travail (surface plane rigide) afin d'effectuer des plis réguliers pour atteindre la surface minimum nécessaire à l'insertion; pour l'opérateur plus habile le pliage à pleine main sans appui reste une opération délicate et fastidieuse. Pour l'opération d'insertion il faut tout d'abord retenir pour le mouvement de translation-glissement les mêmes remarques quant à l'usage ou le non usage d'une surface plane pour effectuer l'opération, ensuite il convient de considérer que le mouvement de translation-glissement peut-être rendu plus difficile voire très difficile du fait du niveau de la température ambiante qui peut modifier le coefficient de frottement de la matière dans laquelle est confectionnée la pochette (par exemple dans le cas de pochettes confectionnées en PVC, une température élevée ramollit la matière et la rend collante; de même une basse température la rend plus rigide : autant de modifications d'état qui altèrent les conditions déjà peu aisées de translation-glissement de l'article d'essuyage dans la pochette.)
Le dispositif selon l'invention permet de remédier aux inconvénients précités en cela qu'il se présente comme l'association par incorporation d'un article d'essuyage à un support de protection formant pochette.
