Abstract

The indirect lighting has an incandescent bulb (5) behind the handle or fitting to be illuminated. The lamp is positioned immediately behind the item, so direct light is not transmitted to the interior of the vehicle. The lamp is supported by a curved reflector (3), which reflects light round the outside of the item (7). An opening (8) round the control or fitting is covered by a translucent plate (9).
