DOMAINE TECHNIQUE AUQUEL SE RAPPORTE L'INVENTIONTECHNICAL FIELD TO WHICH THE INVENTION REFERS

The present invention generally relates to electrical apparatus which comprises any apparatus mechanism, such as for example a switch or socket mechanism, in a box for mounting in any wall or in a housing to be reported in projecting from such a wall.

It relates in particular to electrical equipment comprising a driver pivotally mounted in a base for opening and closing electrical contacts contained in said base, and lighting means adapted to illuminate a facade area of said apparatus.

The invention finds a particularly advantageous application in the production of an electric switch with a light function, visible in dim light.

ARRIERE-PLAN TECHNOLOGIQUEBACKGROUND

We already know, especially the document GB 2,083,708 , electrical equipment of the aforementioned type which incorporates a light function to be located in a dark room and / or indicate to the user their operating status (open or closed).

In electrical equipment already known, the lighting means comprise a light source (a diode or a filament bulb) disposed inside the gearbox. This light source, electrically connected to the connection terminals of the fitting mechanism, emits a light beam in the direction of the control button accessible to the user to illuminate directly or indirectly a window made in the facade of said key and form a line or a bright spot on it.

In the electrical equipment according to the document GB 2,083,708 , the light source is offset laterally relative to the window of the control key to be illuminated. The lighting means then comprise an optical guide embedded in said control key which retrieves the light emitted by the light source and the guide to the window to be illuminated.

In addition, the document US 4,710,858 discloses an electrical apparatus comprising a transparent tilt control key conventionally illuminated from the rear by means of a light source, this control key having an opaque frame to prevent light leakage between said key and the edge of the opening of mounting the key. It is also provided according to this document an arrangement of tilting means of the key, light guide and opaque foam so that the light emitted by the source is guided to the rear face of the key avoiding any lateral leak of light when tilting said key.

The document DE 20 2004 003 530 U1 describes an electrical apparatus that includes two rocker keys. Each tilting key is associated with a light source which illuminates a light guide, integral with the key, comprising, on the one hand, an end portion opening at the center of the key so as to form a central light zone on the facade of said key, and, secondly, a nose located at the rear of the key for actuating a control switch of the light source.

Finally documents GB 2,083,708 and FR 2,045,846 describe rocker switches of the same type in which there is provided a light source offset from the axis of pivoting of the rocking key and a light guide adapted to reduce the light emitted by the source in front (see GB 2,083,708 ) or on one side ( FR 2,045,846 ) of said key.

As a preliminary, it will be noted that, from one figure to another, the identical or similar elements of the various embodiments represented will be as far as possible referenced by the same reference signs and will not be described each time.

On the Figures 1 to 9 there is shown an electrical apparatus comprising a base 100 a module to be mounted in a device support not shown.

This base 100, made in one piece of molded plastic material, contains the electrical mechanism (not visible in the figures) of the electrical equipment.

It can be a switch mechanism or back-and-forth.

The base 100 bears on its rear face (see figure 9 ) 120 openings for access to the electrical connection terminals of the equipment mechanism contained in said base. It also has on two opposite side faces lugs 110 provided with a ratchet tooth 111 for snap-fitting of the base 100 on the corresponding equipment support. On its front face, it is bordered by a rim 101,112 which bears on the corresponding equipment support.

De manière connue en soi, l'appareillage électrique comprend un entraîneur 200 monté à pivotement autour d'un axe X dans le socle 100 pour ouvrir et fermer les contacts électriques du mécanisme d'appareillage contenu dans ledit socle 100.In a manner known per se, the electrical equipment comprises a driver 200 mounted to pivot about an axis X in the base 100 to open and close the electrical contacts of the equipment mechanism contained in said base 100.

The electrical equipment also comprises lighting means adapted to illuminate a façade area of said apparatus.

According to the exemplary embodiment shown on Figures 1 to 9 said lighting means are arranged so as to form a light line on the facade 300A of a control key 300 of the electrical equipment (see figure 6 ).

The control key 300 accessible to the user is snapped onto the driver 200 to rotate about the pivot axis X.

In a particularly advantageous manner, these illumination means comprise a light source 403 which emits a luminous flux towards an optical guide 202A, 204 adapted to guide this luminous flux along the axis X of pivoting of said driver 200.

As shown more particularly in figure 2 , the light source here comprises four light-emitting diodes 403 positioned side by side adjacent to the four corners of a rectangle, connected to a printed circuit supported on the rear face of a printed circuit board 404 wrapped with an insulating envelope 401 to form a cassette 400. Of course the insulating envelope 401 of the cassette 400 does not cover said light-emitting diodes 403 which appear on the rear face of the cassette 400 in a window 402 of said envelope. The printed circuit is electrically powered via contact pins 405 which emerge from the insulating jacket 401 to be connected to the connection terminals of the equipment mechanism contained in the base 100.

As shown more particularly by Figures 3 and 4 , according to the example shown, the driver 200 is in the general form of a generally rectangular cradle, with a bottom 202 bordered by a peripheral side wall 201 which defines a housing 200A open towards the front of the electrical equipment.

It is pivotally mounted in yokes 130 of the base 100 by means of two journals 204 positioned on either side of the peripheral side wall 201 along the axis X of pivoting.

The driver 200 comprises along two parallel lateral sides of the peripheral lateral wall 201 of the wings 203 which are integral with the pivots 204 pivoting the driver 200. These wings 203 have at the trunnions 204 notches so that the The driver 200 has two voids 205 between the peripheral side wall 201 and the two journals 204.

This cradle accommodates the cassette 400 so that its rear face causing said light-emitting diodes 403 to face the bottom 202 of the cradle and that its front face covered with the insulating envelope 401 is turned towards the front face of the apparatus c that is, to the control key 300 thereof.

The bottom 202 of the cradle formed by the driver 200 has openings which pass the contact pins 405 of the cassette 400 placed in said cradle so that said pins can connect to the connection terminals of the equipment mechanism provided at the bottom of the cradle. base 100.

Ici, le guide optique adapté à guider le flux lumineux émis par la source lumineuse des moyens d'éclairage selon l'axe X de pivotement de l'entraîneur appartient à l'entraîneur 200.Here, the optical guide adapted to guide the luminous flux emitted by the light source of the illumination means along the pivoting axis X of the trainer belongs to the trainer 200.

En particulier, ce guide optique comprend au moins une partie 202A du fond 202 de l'entraîneur 200.In particular, this optical guide comprises at least a portion 202A of the bottom 202 of the trainer 200.

For this, the driver 200 is made of a transparent plastic material such as transparent polycarbonate or transparent methyl-acrylonitrile polymethacrylate. It is advantageously made of a single piece of molded transparent plastic material.

When the cassette 400 is positioned in the driver 200, the light-emitting diodes 403 are disposed opposite the portion 202A of the bottom 202 of the cradle forming the optical guide. The luminous flux emitted by the light-emitting diodes 403 is guided by the bottom 202A of the cradle according to the arrows F (see FIG. figures 4 and 6 ) in the direction of pivot pins 204 of the driver 200.

Moreover, as shown more particularly by Figures 5 to 9 , the apparatus shown comprises an optical conduit 500 adapted to recover the luminous flux guided by the bottom 202A of the driver 200 along the axis X of pivoting thereof and to bring it to an extended window 302 provided in the facade 300A of the control key 300 of the electrical equipment.

Here, as shown more particularly by Figures 5 and 6 , the optical conduit 500, made of transparent molded plastic, has a shape adapted to a control key 300 of square shape so called two modules. It follows the overall contour of a trapezium which protrudes from the template of the base 100. It has two ends 501A, 502A input of the luminous flux located on either side of the driver 200 on said axis X pivoting. Each of these ends 501A 502A is inserted into one of said empty spaces 205 located between said peripheral side wall 201 of the cradle and an inner end of a pivot pivot pin 204 thereof.

From these input ends 501A, 502A, the optical conduit 500 has two guide portions 501, 502 of the luminous flux which bypass (one from the left, the other from the right) the peripheral lateral wall 201 of the 200 and which connect to a diffusion portion 503 which extends into said elongated window 302 to illuminate.

The optical conduit 500 is a solid conduit made in one piece by molding a transparent plastic material, for example identical to that which constitutes the driver 200.

Thus, as shown more particularly by figure 6 the majority of the luminous flux emitted by the light-emitting diodes 403 towards the bottom of the base 100 is recovered by the part 202A of the bottom 202 of the trainer 200 and is guided according to the arrows F along the pivot axis X of the trainer to be recovered by the optical conduit 500 and guided to the diffusion portion 503 of the latter to form a light line on the facade 301 of the control key 300 of the electrical equipment.

Advantageously, as shown in figure 9 , the control key 300 has on its rear face 300B studs 301 for maintaining the optical conduit 500 placed on the trainer 200 of the apparatus.

On the figure 10 there is shown an alternative embodiment of the apparatus of the figure 1 according to which the optical conduit 500 'has a U-shape adapted to that of a rectangular control key 300' a module, called a piano key.

La partie de diffusion 503' du conduit optique 500' est plus courte puisqu'elle s'étend seulement sur la largeur du socle 100.It is tightened around the driver 200 so that it is housed in the template of the base 100. The ends 501'A and 502'A of the guide portions 501 'and 502' thereof are located on the X axis pivoting on either side of the driver 200 outside the pivot pins of the latter. The diffusion portion 503 'of the optical conduit 500' is shorter since it extends only over the width of the base 100.

On the Figures 11 and 12 another alternative embodiment of the electrical apparatus shown in FIG. figure 1 according to which the driver 200 'pivotally mounted on the base of the apparatus mechanism not shown also forms a cradle open towards the base of the base, with a bottom 202' and a peripheral side wall 201 'which define a housing accommodating a card printed circuit board 404 'which carries a printed circuit on its front face and on its rear face.

On the one hand, on the rear face of the card 404 ', there are two light-emitting diodes connected to said printed circuit and placed opposite the trunnions of the driver 200' to form a luminous flux along the pivoting axis X of the coach 200 ', and, secondly, on the front of the card 404' turned towards the control key 300, two other light-emitting diodes 403 'turned towards the bottom 202' of the driver 200 '.

The bottom 202 'of the driver 200 forms an optical guide which guides the luminous flux emitted by these light-emitting diodes 403' to a T-shaped optical conduit 500 "having a guide portion 501" which extends opposite of the trainer 200 'to recover the light flow guided by him and a head 502 "serving as a diffusion part which extends in the elongated window 302 of the actuating key to be illuminated.

On the Figures 13 to 17 another alternative embodiment of the electrical apparatus shown in FIG. figure 1 , in which is provided on either side of the driver 200, facing its pivot pins 204, optical conduits 610, 620 arranged to illuminate lateral portions 701, 702 of a trim plate 700 attached around the button control 300 "snapped onto the trainer 200 to form a halot light on either side of this control key.

As shown more particularly by Figures 14 to 17 each optical conduit 610, 620 is relatively flat. It comprises an inlet end 611,621 disposed on the pivoting axis X, opposite each journal 204 pivoting the driver 200, to recover the luminous flux emitted by the light-emitting diodes 403 towards the bottom of the base 100 and guided by the bottom 202A of the coach 200 and the associated journal 204. In addition, it comprises, in the extension of its end 611, 621 a light diffusing portion 612, 622 which extends on a lateral side of the driver 100 opposite the surface 701, 702 of the frontage area of the plate hubcap 700 to illuminate.

Here the diffusion portion 612, 622 of each optical conduit 610, 620 has a generally fan-shaped or angular sector shape and has on its rear face grooves 621A, 622A for diffusing the luminous flux that passes through said conduit.

Each optical conduit 610, 620 also has on its edge streaks of diffusion and reflection of light.

Each optical conduit 610, 620 is a solid conduit made in one piece of transparent plastic material as are the optical conduits 500, 500 '.

Here, as shown more particularly in figure 17 , the luminous flux emitted by the light-emitting diodes in the direction of the bottom of the base is recovered by the part 202A of the bottom 202 of the trainer 202 to be guided along the pivoting axis X of the driver, a part of this luminous flux through the empty space 205 located between the peripheral side wall 201 of the driver 200 and the corresponding journal 204 so as to be guided by the journal 204 to the corresponding input end 611,621 of the optical conduit 610, 620 and to be broadcast by the corresponding 612,622 fan diffusion part of the latter on the front of the trim plate.

On the Figures 18 and 19 , there is shown an alternative embodiment of the electrical equipment shown in the Figures 13 to 17 that there are two trainers 200 identical to that described with reference to Figures 1 to 9 , positioned side by side and actuated by two control buttons 300 "'at the disposal of the user The trainers 200 pivot about the same axis X pivoting.

Here also the lighting means of the electrical equipment comprise a cassette 400 as shown in FIG. figure 2 to have in each coach 200.

Chaque conduit optique 610', 620' est adapté à diffuser la lumière sur la surface latérale correspondante de la plaque enjoliveur entourant les touches de commande 300"'.In addition, it is provided on the side of the journals 204 located outside the two coaches 200 juxtaposed optical ducts 610 ', 620' which extend in fan or crescent moon facing the surface of the hub plate to illuminate. Each optical conduit 610 ', 620' comprises a wall 611 ', 621' disposed facing the outer end of the corresponding pivot pin 204 to recover the light guided by this pin. Each optical conduit 610 ', 620' is adapted to diffuse the light on the corresponding lateral surface of the hub plate surrounding the control keys 300 "'.

The optical conduits 610 ', 620' are solid conduits made in one piece by molding a transparent plastic material.

Advantageously, according to this embodiment, at least one of the control keys 300 "'carries an opaque wall 310"' adapted to block the luminous flux propagating between the two drivers 200 along the axis X of pivoting thereof.

Here, each control key 300 "'has an opaque wall 310''' which is interposed between the peripheral side wall 201 of said driver 200 and an inner pivot journal 204 of the latter so as to block the light flux propagating therebetween.

Each opaque wall 310 '' 'forms a single piece with the associated control key 300' ''.

In this way, the luminous flux is recovered to illuminate only the lateral parts of the trim plate located on either side of the control keys 300 '' 'contiguous so as to form a light halot around these keys.

Advantageously, with the electrical apparatus according to the invention, it is possible by associating with the trainer 200 the appropriate optical conduit to repatriate the light emitted by the light source on the front face of the control key so as to form on it a line illuminate or diffuse this light on the front of the trim plate on either side of said control button.
