Abstract

The instrument consists of a head (1) with supports (14,14') for an abrasive cylinder (11) which has its axle (12) fixed to a drive pinion (8) meshing with at least one pinion (7) in a motor housing (2), to which the head is attached by clips (10,10'). The cylinder rotates in bearings (13,13') in the head, set in the supports. The motor can be a standard one as used, for example, in an epilator, or a special one to drive the cylinder, and in a variant of the design the cylinder can be connected directly to the motor housing by bearings inside a casing. The motor can be powered from the mains, through a transformer, or by a rechargeable battery.
