Abstract

The sprinkler is constituted from a casing comprising three parts, a cylindrical body (1) and two domed ends (2). One dome has an orifice (3) with an external chamfered bell mouth (6) forming a liquid corolla outlet. The sprinkler is located vertically with the orifice directed upwards and is held there by the liquid supply tube (4). The liquid supply tube (4) has a threaded connector (5) and a chamfered side section. The tube is fixed opposite a radial opening (7) of corresponding shape in the cylindrical body. Entry of the liquid from the tube is tangential to the internal wall of the cylindrical body and thereby creates a centrifugal movement of the liquid before it is sprayed out in a corolla.
