Abstract

Utensil for placing equipment and tooling along work platforms of scaffolding for building and civil engineering work. Utensil intended to be fastened to scaffolding for building and civil engineering work and having the objective of receiving the equipment necessary for the professional activity of the user of the scaffolding, without cluttering the floor of the work platform. It is produced from steel tubing and made up of 6 elements welded together and possibly curved (elements (1) and (2)). The elements (1) and (2) constitute the lateral reinforcements and their top ends (3) and (7) are curved so as to be fastened onto the scaffolding by the said ends. The element (12), as well as a similar element which is hidden in Figure 1, given the angle from which it is viewed, constitutes the bottom of the utensil and are intended to receive the object to be carried. The elements (11) and (14) for their part are intended to guard the object placed in the utensil against any possible fall. The utensil is particularly intended to receive tins and buckets of paint necessary for the activity of the house painter, when the latter is using scaffolding.

Description

DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a building and public works utensil intended to add, to any traditional scaffolding structure in this field of activity, a mobile support for different materials and tools. Among these materials and tools, the utensil is more particularly intended to receive the cans and the trucks (containers in which the house painters dissipate the paint) of paint.

Traditionally, when working on scaffolding, the equipment necessary for the professional activity of the various building trades, and in particular the paint cans and the trucks necessary for the activity of the painter, the floor of the work platform.

The object of this utensil is to free the ground from the work platform by providing a mobile support capable of being hung on the scaffolding, inside the work platform, and at a height allowing the user to grasp the object, or its content, placed on said utensil, without having to stoop to ground level. Thus, the invention provides a response to the drawbacks relating to the size of the work platform, and more particularly provides an improvement in working conditions on scaffolding with a concern for gain, both in terms of productivity and safety (reduction of risks fall relative to the size of the work platform).

To meet this objective, the utensil, composed of tubing, is characterized by two lateral frames whose upper ends are curved so that said utensil can be hung on one of the tubes constituting the scaffolding. Furthermore, the stability of the utensil is guaranteed by the fact that its height is such that, given the spacing observed between the tubes constituting the scaffolding, the bottom of the utensil rests on a bar of the scaffolding. when the utensil is hung; on an upper bar of this same scaffolding, thanks to the high curvatures of the lateral frames, provided for this purpose @ and acting as a hook.

In addition, the utensil is characterized by the existence of a bottom consisting of two tubes intended to receive the material likely to be supported by the utensil (a can OR a paint truck for example) Finally two tubes, placed respectively on the front and back of the utensil, are intended to prevent the risk of falling of the object placed on the utensil; and also guarantee the rigidity of the utensil.

l'ustensile;
outils posés sur l'ustensile;
publics.
According to particular embodiments of the invention; as presented by the appended drawings, is susceptible of variants essentially characterized by
- the bottom can be completed with a steel plate to
increase the base of materials and tools deposited on
the utensil;
- the sides of the utensil can be screened in order to
further prevent the risk of falling materials or
tools placed on the utensil;
- the utensil can be provided with rings and straps
(or ropes) intended to facilitate the lifting of
the utensil by means of lifting equipment generally
used on building scaffolding and works
public.

l'invention;
l'invention;

- Figure 3 shows, seen from the side, the utensil according to the invention
- Figure 4 shows, seen from above, the utensil according to the invention
On the other hand; the invention as presented
by the attached drawings correspond to dimensions
specifically adapted to the dimensions generally
observed for paint cans and trucks, however
the dimensions shown on the drawings are likely to
significant modifications depending on the dimensions of the
materials and tools to be received.
