Abstract

The invention relates to an insulating panel intended to produce, by shuttering or by implementation using adhesive bonding or mechanical fixing, the thermal and acoustic insulation and the increase in fire resistance of reinforced or prestressed concrete slabs. It consists of a polystyrene core (1), one or two rock-wool facings (2), metal fasteners (3) and laths (4). It is employed either as a shuttering end-wall (bottom) or attached, by adhesive bonding or mechanical fixing, as a soffit of a concrete slab (5). The panel according to the invention is particularly intended for the production of floor soffits for use in blocks of flats (communal dwelling places) and in commerical or industrial premises.
