Description

La présente invention concerne un appareil de soudage pour effectuer le
soudage de feuilles de matière plastique à l'aide d'au moins deux joints de soudure formés à distance l'un de l'autre, se composant d'un bâti, d'un dispositif de chauffage disposé de façon à pouvoir se déplacer longitudinalement devant la zone de soudure et comportant au moins deux coins de soudage placés à distance l'un de l'autre, et de galets presseurs placés dans des positions mutuellement opposées, pouvant être appliqués l'un contre
l'autre et être entraînés par un moteur.
Pour contrôler l'étanchéité des joints de soudure, le volume situé entre les deux joints de soudure est rempli d'air comprimé ou d'un autre fluide et la pression est mesurée
pendant un temps prédéterminé.
Dans les appareils de soudage connus, il se produit dans les deux coins de soudure placés à distance l'un de l'autre dans l'appareil de chauffage des températures de fonctionnement qui sont différentes dans chaque cas et qui ne sont pas contrôlables de sorte que les joints de soudure
formés parallèlement entre eux présentent une cavité diffé-
rente, et pour cette raison les deux joints n'ont pas le
comportement identique désiré lors du contrôle d'étanchéité.
La présente invention a maintenant pour but de créer un appareil de soudage du type défini ci-dessus, au moyen duquel les joints de soudure formés parallèlement entre eux puissent avoir qualitativement et à un degré élevé
la même qualité.
Ce problème est résolu selon l'invention en ce qu'il est prévu dans chaque coin de soudage du dispositif de chauffage des éléments chauffants séparés l'un de l'autre et pouvant être commandés thermostatiquement indépendamment l'un de l'autre. Avec un tel agencement double ou multiple, il est maintenant possible de régler une température de soudage exactement identique pour chaque zone d'assemblage
des feuilles de matière plastique à souder ensemble, indépen-
damment de diverses différences de température partielles.
Il est ainsi possible d'obtenir des joints soudés ayant qualitativement la même valeur en ce qui concerne notamment la résistance au déchirement, ce qui est d'une grande importance pour le contrôle d'étanchéité intervenant à la
suite du soudage.
Conformément à un mode avantageux de mise en oeuvre de l'invention, les éléments chauffants peuvent être commandés d'une manière connue au moyen de thyristors, ce qui permet de régler d'une manière simple les températures
des coins de soudage.
Selon un autre mode avantageux de mise en oeuvre de l'invention, il est prévu entre les éléments chauffants réalisés en céramique un autre corps chauffant, les deux éléments chauffants étant disposés de façon à faire saillie supérieurement du corps chauffant central dans la zone de l'extrémité en forme de coin. Cet autre élément chauffant sert à préchauffer le dispositif de chauffage ainsi qu'à faciliter le maintien de l'espacement constant des mâchoires de soudage réalisées en aluminium. Grâce aux saillies prévues
dans la zone des deux éléments chauffants, on exclut l'influen-
ce mutuelle perturbatrice et, pour de petits angles du coin, on obtient également une plus longue zone de contact en vue d'améliorer la transmission de chaleur aux feuilles de
matière plastique glissant au-dessus.
D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de l'inven-
tion seront mis en évidence dans la suite de la description,
donnée à titre d'exemple non limitatif, en référence aux dessins annexés dans lesquels: la figure 1 est une vue de face d'un appareil de soudage agencé conformément à l'invention; la figure 2 est une vue en plan de l'appareil de soudage de la figure 1;
la figure 3 est une vue en plan à échelle agrandie du disposi-
tif de chauffage conforme à l'invention; la figure 4 est une vue en coupe schématique du dispositif de chauffage de la figure 3;
la figure 5 représente un schéma à blocs du circuit électri-
que de l'appareil de commande, et la figure 6 représente un schéma à blocs d'un circuit de commande. L'appareil de soudage 1 se compose d'un bâti 2 comportant des galets presseurs supérieurs et inférieurs 3, 4 et un dispositif de commande 5. Le bâti 2 se compose de
deux profilés 6, 7 de section rectangulaire, disposés paral-
lèlement entre eux et qui sont reliés l'un avec l'autre,
dans leur zone extrême arrière, par un tube orienté transver-
salement. Le profilé de bâti 6 est relié rigidement au tube 9 alors que par contre l'autre profilé 7 du bâti peut pivoter autour de l'axe 10 du tube 9. Le profilé 7 est précontraint au moyen d'une lame élastique 60, maintenue dans une fente du tube 9 et qui s'appuie contre la paroi intérieure du profilé creux 7 du bâti, ce qui assure ainsi l'application des galets
presseurs 3, 4 l'un contre l'autre.
Dans une zone extrême avant des deux profilés 6 du bâti, il est prévu respectivement un moteur 11, 12 et une transmission à train planétaire 13, 14, auxquels sont respectivement reliés les galets presseurs 3, 4. L'axe des deux galets presseurs 3, 4 est disposé coaxialement par rapport à l'axe du moteur correspondant. Chaque galet presseur 3, 4 se compose de deux molettes en caoutchouc qui sont espacées l'une de l'autre. On pourrait cependant également prévoir plusieurs molettes si on désirait réaliser des joints multiples de soudage. Sur le profilé 6 de droite, est fixée, par l'intermédiaire de deux cornières 15 ( dont seulement une partie est représentée sur la figure 2 pour simplifier le dessin) une poignée 16 pourvue d'un contacteur
17. Pour l'alimentation des moteurs 11, 12 et d'un disposi-
tif dé chauffage 19 comportant deux mâchoires de soudage 22, il est prévu un conducteur 18 à plusieurs fils qui relient le dispositif de commande 5 au contacteur 17 et également celui-ci, par l'intermédiaire d'une cornière creuse 15, avec les deux moteurs 11, 12 et avec le dispositif de chauffage 19 placé au milieu, Celui-ci est agencé en forme de coin et il est fixé sur le profilé 6 du bâti de façon à pouvoir se
déplacer longitudinalement par l'intermédiaire d'une transmis-
sion en parallélogramme 61. Pour le guidage du dispositif de chauffage 19, il est prévu des broches de guidage 20 fixées
sur les profilés 6, 7 du bâti.
Le dispositif de chauffage 19 représenté à échelle agrandie sur les figures 3 et 4 se compose d'un
corps 21 en aluminium pourvu de deux coins de soudage 22.
Dans ces coins de soudage 22 sont disposés des éléments chauffants en céramique 23, 24, dont la température est
respectivement réglable électroniquement de façon indépen-
dante. Pour augmenter la puissance de chauffe, il est prévu entre les éléments chauffants 23, 24 un corps chauffant 25, également réalisé en céramique, stabilisé, et qui est commandé de manière à servir à faciliter le maintien de la température de soudage à une valeur constante ( d'environ 280 à 290 C). La puissance totale de chauffe du dispositif de chauffage 19 s'élève à trois fois 80 W. Cette puissance est transmie avec séparation galvanique par l'intermédiaire
du conducteur de commande 18.
Pour assurer la marche synchronisée des deux moteurs 11, 12, chacun des deux moteurs est équipé d'un capteur de vitesse de rotation, non représenté, lesdits capteurs étant reliés par l'intermédiaire de conducteurs avec
le dispositif de commande 5, qui est représenté schématique-
ment sur la figure 5.
Ces capteurs de vitesse de rotation sont reliés aux bornes 30, 30' du dispositif de commande 5 et ils fournissent des signaux correspondant à la vitesse de rotation des moteurs associés 11, 12, lesdits moteurs étant
alimentés en courant par l'intermédiaire de circuits d'exci-
tation 33, 35. A cet effet, les sorties des deux circuits d'excitation 33 et 35 sont reliées aux bornes 34, 36 qui sont elles-mêmes reliées aux moteurs correspondants. Ces circuits d'excitation fournissent un courant correspondant au signal de commande qui est appliqué et ils peuvent être constitués
par exemple par des transistors.
Le circuit d'excitation 33 est relié à un générateur de valeur de consigne 32 et il alimente le moteur servant de moteur directeur alors que par contre le circuit d'excitation est relié à la sortie d'un régulateur 31 comparant une valeur réelle à une valeur de consigne et qui reçoit d'une part comme valeur de consigne le signal provenant du capteur de vitesse de rotation associé au moteur directeur et, comme valeur réelle, le signal provenant du capteur de vitesse de
rotation associé au moteur dépendant du moteur directeur.
Ce régulateur 31 fournit par conséquent à sa sortie un signal de commande dont la grandeur assure la marche synchronisée des deux moteurs 11, 12 et qui est appliqué au circuit
d'excitation 35.
L'alimentation- en tension continue du régulateur 31 de comparaison de valeur de consigne et de valeur réelle,
et également des circuits d'excitation 33, 35 et du généra-
teur de valeur de consigne 32, qui peut être constitué par exemple par un potentiomètre, est assurée par l'intermédiaire d'un circuit redresseur 46 qui est relié à la borne 45, reliée elle-même à une source de tension alternative, du
dispositif de commande 5.
En outre les bornes 40, 40' et 40" sont reliées à des capteurs de températures RT, RT', RT", par exemple des thermistances, qui sont disposés dans la zone des deux
mâchoires de soudage 22 et de la partie centrale du disposi-
tif de chauffage 19, lesdites bornes 40, 40', 40" étant en outre reliées aux bornes 54 d'un circuit d'excitation 50 pour chacun des thyristors T3, T3', T3", qui commandent le passage du courant dans les éléments chauffants 23, 24, 25
reliés aux bornes 44, 44', 44" du dispositif de commande.5.
Les bornes 51, 52 des circuits d'excitation 50 sont reliées à des générateurs de valeurs de consigne RP, RP', RP", qui peuvent être constitués par exemple par des résistances réglables. La borne 55 du circuit d'excitation est reliée à la masse, avec laquelle sont également reliés les capteurs de températures RT, RT', RT" et les
éléments chauffants 23, 24, 25.
La borne 56 constituant la sortie de commande est reliée à l'électrode de commande du thyristor T3, T3',
T3" et une tension alternative est appliquée à la borne 51.
Comme le montre la figure 5, les trois éléments
chauffants 23, 24, 25 sont commandés ou réglés indépendam-
ment l'un de l'autre. Dans la forme de réalisation représen-
tée, il est prévu trois générateurs de valeurs de consigne, qui sont cependant avantageusement accouplés mécaniquement entre eux d'une manière non représentée de façon à permettre un même réglage de valeur de consigne pour chaque élément chauffant. Il est cependant également possible de prévoir seulement un générateur de valeur de consigne pour les trois circuits d'excitation, auquel cas alors les bornes 52, 53 d'un des circuits d'excitation 52, 52', 52" sont branchées
en parallèle l'une avec l'autre.
Les circuits d'excitation 50, 50', 50" sont agencés de façon identique et permettent une régulation graduelle de la puissance de chauffe de chaque élément chauffant 23, 24, 25 en correspondance à la valeur de consigne de la température, réglée à l'aide du générateur de
valeur de consigne correspondant RP, RP', RP". Pour la régu-
lation de la chauffe, on utilise un thyristor T3, T3', T3"
mais cependant on pourrait également utiliser un triac.
Chaque thyristor est excité par l'intermédiaire d'un diviseur de tension stabilisée et de deux diodes Zener D1, D2, qui sont reliées en opposition avec les transistors T1, T2. La base du transistor est excitée par le diviseur de tension stabilisée, qui est constitué par la thermistance RT et le générateur de valeur de consigne. Les diodes Zener ont pour rôle de compenser une variation de la tension du secteur de + 10 %. En fonction du réglage du générateur de valeur de
consigne et de la grandeur de la résistance de la thermis-

Claims (3)

REVENDICATIONS
1. Appareil de soudaqe pour effectuer le soudage de feuilles de matière plastique (26, 27) à l'aide d'au moins deux joints de soudure (28, 29) formes à distance l'un de l'autre, se composant d'un bâti, d'un dispositif de chauffage disposé de façon à pouvoir se déplacer longitudinalement devant la zone de soudure et comportant au moins deux coins de soudage placés à distance l'un de l'autre, et de galets presseurs placés dans des positions mutuellement opposées, pouvant être appliqués l'un contre l'autre et être entraînés par un moteur, caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu dans chaque coin de soudage (22) du dispositif de chauffage (19) des éléments chauffants (23, 24) séparés l'un de l'autre et pouvant être
commandés thermostatiquement indépendamment l'un de l'autre.
2. Appareil de soudage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les éléments chauffants (23, 24) peuvent être commandés d'une manière connue au moyen de
thyristors (T3, T T3',3).
3. Appareil de soudage selon une des revendications
1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu entre les éléments chauffants (23, 24) réalisés en céramique un autre corps chauffant (25), les deux éléments chauffants (23, 24) étant disposés de façon à faire saillie supérieurement du corps chauffant central (25) dans la zone de l'extrémité en forme
de coin.
