Abstract

The flap for a door hinge comprises a rigid strip (1) carrying hinges (3) along one of its lateral edges which are secured to the door jamb (H). The hinges incorporate springs which bias the free edge (1b) of the strip against the external face of the door (P), covering the gap between the edge of the door and the door jamb and preventing accidental injury to the fingers. The lateral edges of the strip (1) carry hollow ribs, one of which receives the pivotal axes of the hinges (3) and the other of which may receives the pivotal axes of the hinges (3) and the other of which may receive a flexible seal.
