Abstract

The heat recuperator is built up from a series of identical cast iron radiator sections arranged in interconnecting, horizontal (1) vertically (2) and inclined (3) banks. The number and exact arrangement of the sections can be tailored to suit the existing fireplace. Each cast iron section has a threaded hole at each end with right and left hand threads. The connections between the sections are made using screwed barrel nipples with left and right hand threads, paper gaskets and spacers. Water connections are made with unions and plugs are screwed into the other, open, end connections.

La présente invention concerne la récupération de chaleur dans un foyer de cheminée et le transport par eau des calories récupérées vers des surfaces de chauffe au moyen de lladapta- tion d'éléments de radiateur à colonnes en fonte assemblés en trois plans par nipples et entretoises en fonction des dimensions de tous foyers de cheminée. En effet lors de l'utilisation de la cheminée selon le moyen le plus usuel à savoir un feu de bois; les calories dégagées par la combustion sont récupérées par les surfaces en fonte des éléments de radiateurs.
