Abstract

The mounting clip can be fitted over the profile of a support strip without the need to enter the fitting at the end of the strip then slide it along the strip to its correct location, and is used for electrical connector blocks which are stacked on a support strip. The device is formed in halves, each with a rolled edge (g,h) to fit over the outer edges (25,26) of the support strip (22) profile. The first half of the clip comprises a bracket (1) perpendicular to the support strip, and having a slotted (11) right angle bend (6) for fixing a fitting (12). The second half (2) has a folded foot (20) matching the depth of the support strip profile. The first half is pushed over the profile edge from one side, then the second fitted from the opposite direction, overlapping the first half. A bolt (3) is passed through the slotted hole (16) in the second half and screwed into the threaded hole in the first half, clamping the two halves together and holding the mounting clip in place on the section.
