Abstract

The device has the relay contact of the normal relay used to connect the battery to the starter motor connected in series with an anti-theft relay contact. The latter is controlled by superimposed magnetic fields produced by permanent magnets carried by respective relay stems and a contact operated by a key coded electrically and magnetically. The device is pref. incorporated in the dashboard with a slot for introduction of the anti-theft key, without which the vehicle engine cannot be started. The device is small enough to be easily incorporated in the dashboard and can be used for road vehicles, boats or aircrafts.
