Abstract

The trailer or caravan is designed to be towed by a vehicle. It can be used on roads or a snow field. It has a chassis and floor and a two wheeled axle and a detachable body (2). A lower shoe or ski (6) is pivoted to the chassis, joined by a double acting ram (9). There can be two shoes pivoted by cranks, one forward and one to the rear, with rams as previously. The body is held to the chassis by pinning and loading and unloading is performed by a hydraulic ram. Ski supports the weight of the body when on snow.
