Abstract

The natural draught roof ventilator comprises an internal section (1) fixed by a collar seal (3) perpendicular to the surface. This inner section continues through the roof as a vertical section (2) projecting upwards. The open end of the vertical section is fitted with a cone-shaped skirt (4), which depends at a 60 deg. angle to the duct. Above this open end is a rain cap, this being in the form of a circular flat-topped cover. The cap is held by straps (5) to leave a gap and its sides (6) bend downwards into an ogee profile (9).
