Abstract

L'invention concerne une chenille de véhicule destinée à être entraînée en passant sur des roues, de préférence des roues en caoutchouc, pourvues de nervures transversales jouant le rôle de dents, la chenille comportant au moins deux éléments de traction longitudinaux parallèles espacés en acier et des plaques transversales de chenille reliant ces éléments de traction et constituées par une structure en acier. La structure en acier de chaque plaque de chenille est une structure-caisson portant une semelle en matériau élastomère qui recouvre le côté faisant face à l'extérieur de la structure en acier et constitue le contact avec le sol des plaques de chenille respectives, les éléments de traction reliés aux plaques de chenille sont constitués par des maillons articulés entre ces plaques et les maillons de chaque élément de traction sont chacun raccordés par boulons à la structure en acier de la plaque de chenille.
