Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un capitonnage pneumatique pour emballages. Elle est caractérisée en ce que cet emballage est constitué de trois pellicules de matière plastique réunies par thermosoudage de manière à former une pluralité d'alvéoles reliés entre eux au moyen de petites canalisations elles-mêmes reliées à un canal principal, la pellicule intermédiaire étant en communication avec chaque alvéole par un orifice qui relie les deux chambres formées par ladite pellicule, de telle sorte que les trois feuilles soient en contact, occupant un volume minimum, jusqu'à ce qu'on injecte de l'air sous pression par le canal principal, ce qui gonfle les alvéoles qui restent hermétiquement fermés lorsque l'air n'est plus injecté, en raison de la déformation provoquée sur la pellicule intermédiaire par la section produite par l'air qui sort, déformation qui entraîne la fermeture des canalisations qui relient les alvéoles entre eux. Elle se rapporte à un capitonnage pneumatique spécialement conçu pour etre utilisé comme emballage de protection ou comme matériau de remplissage, présentant un faible prix de revient et un volume réduit lors de son stockage ou de son transport.
