Abstract
The automatic rewind mechanism uses two rings (1, 4) one outside the other, with a cage (6) interposed between them. This cage (6) is formed by a tubular sleeve pierced by a number of radial openings (8) located in the same plane each containing a ball (9). One of the rings (1) has an annular groove (10) with a V-shaped cross-section in which the balls (9) are partially engaged, the other ring (4) has a cylindrical surface along which the balls (9) can roll. The second ring (4) is solidly fixed to the cage (6), e.g. by soldering.
