Abstract

L'invention concerne un médicament. Ce médicament est composé de dichlorométhoxylénol. Il a été testé expérimentalement chez l'animal sur trois types différents d'inflammation non microbienne. On a trouvé qu'il possède une activité anti-inflammatoire plus forte que celle de l'acide acétylsalicylique tout en ne provoquant pas comme ce dernier des ulcères et des hémorragies gastriques. C'est donc une substance intéressante puisqu'elle possède une activité antimicrobienne et une activité anti-inflammatoire dépourvue d'effet ulcérogène.
