Abstract

The shelving unit is easily erected and dismantled and can be enlarged and altered as required. The unit comprises a series of shelves (10) supported on vertical sides (11). Each side (11) consists of two U shaped sections, with the free ends of the sides of one U shaped section facing towards those of the other. A rectangular panel (13) has tongued lengthwise edges. Each tongue fits between the sides of a U shaped section, but does not occupy the whole groove. The shelves and a threaded support bar fits into the space between the end of the tongues and the grooves.
