Il comprend : à gauche, en saillie par rapport au document plié - une bande renforcée de rangement a, munie de perforations, et à droite, sur toute la hauteur - une marge libre b, destinée à la prolongation du document, par accolement d'une ou de plusieurs feuilles identiques entières ou de leur partie seulement. L'invention peut s'appliquer à tous les documents qui doivent réunir une quantité importante d'informations, toutes facilement lisibles d'un seul regard, ou représenter des dessins étendus; schémas, graphiques, plans, tableaux de comptabilité, cartes géographiques, etc.
