Abstract
L'invention a trait à des objets à reprise thermique auto-chauffants. Elle a pour objet des objets qui comportent un élément à reprise thermique, constitué d'une composition polymère conductrice et qui sont amenés à se rétracter en faisant passer un courant électrique à travers l'élément pour provoquer son chauffage résistif. L'objet est muni d'un nouveau type d'électrodes, à savoir une feuille métallique ajourée qui peut se rétracter avec l'élément à reprise. Application notamment au recouvrement de câbles électriques.The invention relates to self-heating thermal recovery objects. It relates to objects which include a thermal recovery element, consisting of a conductive polymer composition and which are caused to retract by passing an electric current through the element to cause its resistive heating. The object is provided with a new type of electrodes, namely a perforated metal foil which can retract with the recovery element. Application in particular to the covering of electric cables.
