Abstract

Single lever mixture tap for hot and cold water has three distributor discs, movable relatively to each other, each with holes through them, and made usually from hard sintered ceramic material. It is used to adjust the outlet quantity and the mixture ratio. The first disc is static (11) and has at least two input holes (12, 13), and the second disc (15) can move relatively to the first and has holes which work in conjunction with those in the first disc. The second disc movement is rotary. The third disc (18) is displaceable linearly relatively to the second disc in the direction of a joining line between the middle points of the second disc holes. The third disc (18) has at least two through holes working in conjunction with those of the second disc.
