Abstract

The angle formed by one surface of piece part is measured w.r.t. a reference plane which is part of measuring jig. A probe having the shape of a cylindrical segment makes contact to measure the angle. A measuring jig comprises horizontal table(1) whose upper surface(2) forms reference plane onto which two parallel blocks(3, 4) are mounted to support two probes(5, 6). Each probe is formed from circular segment and has a face(5a) which contacts part(7) to be measured. The probes rotate so that their levers(19) indicate against graduated scales(24) to give required angle.
