Abstract

The wheels (11, 12) are carried by longitudinal arms which oscillate around a common transverse shaft. Each arm is associated with a suspension spring consisting of a suspension spring consisting of a transverse torsion bar. One end of this is fixed to the arm and the other to the suspended vehicle part. Each torsion bar (16, 20) is fixed to the end of the lower part of the suspension arm (9, 0) and the other end is fixed near the oscillating shaft (X-X) of the other suspension arm. The suspension arms are fitted on a support (1, 3, 4), cushioned from the body. The support also carries the other end of the torsion bar.
