Abstract

Perfectionnements aux cadres et procédé d'encadrement. Cadre de profil simple, démontable à l'origine, mais dont l'utilisation ne requiert plus cette faculté; convenant aussi bien à des sujets minces (sous-verres) qu'à des sujets épais (toiles sur châssis) et dont les éléments de maintien assurent une double fonction. Il comprend quatre côtés assemblés par des équerres de rétention à rattrapage de jeu, des ressorts servant, d'une part au maintien du sujet dans le cadre et, d'autre part à l'accrochage du tableau au mur; enfin un procédé permettant l'encadrement d'un sujet mince de format quelconque dans un cadre de format normalisé ou habituel. Ce cadre est utilisable aussi bien pour les affiches, photographies, reproductions, aquarelles, gravures, gouaches, dessins, pastels, miroirs, que pour les peintures sur toiles tendues sur châssis et, en général, pour tout ce qui est appelé à être encadré.
