Abstract

626,601. Spring clips. KING, T. B., and N. B. MOULDINGS, Ltd. Aug. 28, 1947, No. 23826. [Class 44] [Also in Group XV] A clip or retaining device for holding mirrors and similar articles in their frames comprises an acute angled L-shaped member 5, preferably a length of bent wire, one arm 8 of which takes into an aperture 7 in the frame 1 normal to the surface of the mirror 3 while the other arm 9 bears against the surface through the medium of an annular washer 10. The frame 1 is preferably of moulded plastic and has upstanding lugs 12 each formed with a locating groove 13. A double clip 6 may be provided as a hanger and comprises two clips in close proximity bridged by a connecting portion 14.
