Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition d'essai destinée à la détection de corps cétoniques. La composition d'essai de l'invention renferme un nitroprussiate associé à au moins un sel inorganique d'un métal tel que le magnésium et le calcium. Au moins une amine primaire peut être ajoutée à cette association. Cette composition est avantageusement incorporée à un support tel qu'une matrice ou une tablette pour former un dispositif d'essai. Le sel de métal stabilise le nitroprussiate en solution à un pH alcalin, ce qui permet donc un procédé de production par simple immersion, il favorise l'ionisation des corps cétoniques, ce qui raccourcit la durée de réaction et il stabilise le complexe chromophore résultant; ce dernier est encore stabilisé par l'amine primaire.
