Abstract

Pour exploiter les aimants permanents en terres rares dans les machines électriques tournantes sans accroissement prohibitif du coût de ces machines et avec une réduction de performance modeste, une moitié des pôles de l'élément, rotor ou stator de la machine qui exploite des aimants permanents, a des pièces polaires en fer alors que les pièces polaires de l'autre moitié incorporent des aimants permanents en terres rares, soit en étant entièrement constitués de tels aimants soit ayant de tels aimants associés à des parties en fer de ces pièces polaires. Applications : moteurs et génératrices à courant continu à commande de flux, alternateurs et moteurs à courant alternatif, machines tournant pas à pas et moteurs à courant continu à commutation électronique.
