Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un tétrahydro-4-4'-bipyridyle N,N'-disubstitué correspondant. Selon l'invention, on prévoit une cellule électrolytique 1 comprenant une chambre cathodique 2, une chambre anodique 3, une membrane 4, une cathode 5, une anode 6, des passages d'alimentation et de transfert 7 et 7', une pompe de circulation du catholyte 8, un extracteur 9, avec une phase organique 10 et une phase aqueuse 11. L'invention s'applique notamment à la préparation d'un sel de 4-4'-bipyridinium N,N'-disubstitué.
