Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation en continu de solutions concentrées de dithionite par réduction cathodique d'une solution aqueuse de sulfite et/ou de bisulfite recyclée à la pompe, la réduction ayant lieu dans l'espace cathodique d'une cellule d'électrolyse, qui se compose d'un espace cathodique avec cathode, d'un espace anodique avec anode, séparés par une membrane échangeuse de cations à perméabilité sélective pour l'ion de signe oppose du dithionite. Dans le procédé de l'invention, on fait passer solution au moins dix fois dans le circuit par heure, le volume relatif de catholyte à l'extérieur de la cellule, défini par :
