Abstract

Procédé d'utilisation du bioxyde de chlore dans la première étape de blanchiment d'un procédé de blanchiment à plusieurs étapes d'une matière contenant de la ligno-cellulose, caractérisé en ce que le pH de la solution de blanchiment est ajusté à un niveau tel que le pH final est inférieur à 3,5, de préférence inférieur à 3,0 ou mieux, inférieur à environ 2,5 et en ce que la charge de bioxyde de chlore dans la première étape est maintenue inférieure à la charge normale nécessaire à la chloruration, soit de 0,6 à 1 fois le nombre de chlore, de préférence 0,7 à 0,95 fois le nombre de chlore calculé en tant que pourcentage de chlore actif par rapport à la pulpe.
