Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif formant groupe de suralimentation pour moteur à combustion interne. Selon l'invention, le groupe de suralimentation 1 est à deux étages 3, 4 en série à axes perpendiculaires et encombrement minimum. Pour cela la turbine haute pression 5 est mécaniquement accouplée au compresseur haute pression 7, alors que la turbine basse pression 11 est mécaniquement accouplée au compresseur basse pression 12. En outre, un carter unique 18 est prévu pour la sortie des gaz de la turbine haute pression 5 et l'entrée des gaz de la turbine basse pression. L'invention s'applique notamment aux moteurs Diesel.
