Abstract

Le procédé selon l'invention consiste à prévoir plusieurs phases de séchage, au moyen d'un fluide gazeux traversant la couche de produit, de telle sorte que l'épaisseur de produit dans chacune des couches augmente progressivement dune phase à l'autre tandis que la vitesse d'avancement des couches diminue progressivement d'une phase à l'autre, l'appareil pour la mise en oeuvre dudit procédé comprenant plusieurs compartiments 2a, 2b, 2c superposés munis chacun d'une bande transporteuse 9a, 9b, 9c, des moyens de transfert du produit d'un compartiment à l'autre, un réglage de la vitesse de chaque bande et une alimentation en fluide de chaque compartiment. Ces procédé et appareil sont notamment destinés à être utilisés en sucrerie.
