Abstract

L'invention concerne des particules de marquage électroscopiques comprenant une phase aqueuse intérieure contenant une matière colorante et enveloppée d'une couche extérieure de particules de silice hydrophobe. Selon l'invention on dissout dans de l'eau un liant et éventuellement un colorant solubles dans l'eau, puis on disperse dans cette solution de la magnétite de qualité pigment et éventuellement un autre pigment et on mélange rigoureusement avec des particules de silice hydrophobe, pour former une phase intérieure aqueuse contenant la matière colorante et enveloppée d'une couche extérieure de particules de silice hydrophobe. Applications au développement d'images électrostatiques latentes contenues sur la surface d'élément d'enregistrement diélectrique ou photoconducteur.
