Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'amélioration du freinage pneumatique d'un moteur Diesel réversible à quatre temps 22 à deux rangées de cylindres 1-6 et 7-12 en V à soupapes de démarrage alimentees par un distributeur rotatif 13', 13" par rangée entraîné par un arbre à cames du moteur. La lumière 15 de passage d'air comprimé du rotor du distributeur 13' alimentant la rangée de cylindres de gauche permet une durée d'ouverture de passage d'air comprime équivalente à un angle de rotation de 148,5 degrés du vilebrequin tandis que la lumière correspondante 16 du rotor du distributeur 13" alimentant la rangée de cylindres de droite permet une durée d'ouverture équivalente à un angle de rotation de vilebrequin de 60 degrés ou de 40 degrés . L'invention est applicable au renversement de sens de marche d'un moteur Diesel marin par freinage rapide jusqu'à l'arrêt puis redémarrage en sens inverse.
