Abstract

An air jet massaging mattress is made up of sections to support the body, with an extension for the feet and another for the head. The perforations for the body part are in sets running end to end, and those for the feet and head are in rows at right angles to them. The holes for the head end occur only over a limited region for the neck, and form a U shape, with a crossing row further outwards. The remainder of the supporting surface of the head extension has no air holes. The foot extension similarly has two U shaped rows of holes. The jet tubes for the extensions connect directly to the air distributor tube, and the air supply to the body part can be regulated.
