Abstract

The dispenser is fitted into the neck of a bottle and permits the contents to flow when the bottle is tilted. A valve prevents refilling, a ball (113) sealing the neck (2). The valve comprises a ring (120) in the neck, resting on the rim (1). This provides a seating (130) for a loose ball (113) and together with an upper tapered section (127), forms a retaining cage with side flow apertures (128). This assembly is enclosed in a sleeve (7) locating on a rib (3) on the bottle neck. A cap (6) holds a plug (8), this being removed when the upper part of the cap is stripped from the bottle.
