Abstract

Each hook comprises twin (1, 2) vertical parallel and interspaced leaves. The leaves (1, 2) are rectangular in elevation, have coincidental transverse horizontal axies, and are fixed together by transverse reinforcing bars (4). The outer leaf (1) may have an externa external layer (5) of reinforced (6) concrete and an internal layer (&) of insulating material. The inner leaf may have an internal layer (8) of reinforced concrete and an external layer of plaster (9). The transverse reinforcing bars (4) may be anchored into the respective reinforced concrete layers (5, 8). Single leaf blocks may be used to form wall corners.
