Abstract

The multi-store tractor drawn beet plough has two frames carrying sets of shares and mounted on multiple wheels, and able to swing and tilt independently. A draw bar (2) can also swing about a vertical hinge pin (3) and has a horizontal hinge pin (40) and a set of brackets (45) on top, connected by a turn-buckle (47) or actuator cylinder to a similar bracket (46) on the following frame (5) so that it can be lifted to a higher level into a transport position using at least one wheel for steering or drive. An adjusting arm (42) on the side of the draw bar can be used to offset the following frame (5) sideways as required, this movement being permitted by the wheel suspension system.
