Abstract

The arrangement is for monitoring the pressure in one or more tyres at equal pressure and is of the type whereby the tyre (s) are connected with the pressure chamber (13) of a device containing a cylinder (11) and piston (3). Inside the cylinder a bellows (18) is provided which, on one side, is secured with air-tight connection, to the piston, and on the other, to the cylinder cover. The bellows is evacuated so that the piston moves when the pressure in the chamber varies and is capable of producing a signal thereby. At least one of the ducts (9, 10) entering the cylinder may be closable by the piston for which a sealing element (12) may be provided on the piston. The piston may be loaded by adjustable spring (4) and a wireless transmitter element may be provided to give a signal when the pressure drops below a pre-set value.
