Abstract

The double-glazing window frame is of plastic or elastomeric material and has a section for fixing to the wooden columns and lintels of the main frame, the pane fitting in a groove in the profiled section. Inside the latter there is formed an L-shaped recess (21), one arm of which overlaps the groove (18) accommodating the pane. This accommodates the two flanges (31, 34) of an angle-iron piece, and a further groove (24) is provided for the mounting flange (37) of this piece, fixed to the face of the wooden window frame. One of the sides of this groove can form a lip (26) bearing against the face of the wooden frame.
