Abstract

Post-mammectomy brassiere of which one or both cups are arranged to receive false breasts comprises >=1 removable packet to be fitted in the appropriate cup for receiving the prosthesis with removable fastening means for connecting the pocket to the cup. The fastening means pref. comprises "Velcro" strips with loops and with hooks provided on the inner surface of the cup and on the pocket respectively or vv. The pocket pref. consists of a ladder proof cover of which the flat part for application to the thorax is made of cotton lined foam, with two "Velcro" trips attached in its upper and lower regions.
