Abstract

Device for fixing a double glazing on a swingable window consists essentially of a rigid profile having a first part with a U-shaped section with flexible longitudinal lips these converging to form a joint for the second pane, and a second part displaced laterally relative to the first part, and having a longitudinal opening formed between its edges. The longitudinal opening receives one arm of a corner plate for joining the profile to an identical profile bordering the adjoining edge of the second pane, and the enclosed pane is fixed to the wooden window frame by screws passing through the second part. Easily mounted at low cost on a window already provided with a first pane. Mounting is effected without the use of materials such as mastic, and an excellent seal is obtained. Attractive appearance.
