Abstract

The system comprises circuits for heating the water and for distributing it, and has a heat exchanger (16, 24, 25) whose primary circuit (24) is situated in the feed and recirculation circuit (10, 22, 26, 27), (23, 11). The secondary circuit (25) is between a cold water supply (15) and the hot water distribution circuit (14). The heat exchanger can be of the contra-flow type, without contact between the water in its different circuits. Its primary circuit can be mounted parallel to the heating circuit. There can be a differential thermometer at feed and recirculation circuit inlet and outlet, and there can be a circulation pump (18) at the inlet (26) of the heat exchanger primary circuit, this being controlled by the outlet temperature of hot water from the secondary circuit.
