Abstract

The radiator has a primary heater body in th form of a hollow panel through which the heating fluid flows. Secondary surface assembled on the panel are of stamped sheet metal with corrugations forming upward air passages between it and the panel, there being intervals between the corrugations to allow its mounting on the panel. The corrugations are so shaped that subsequent squeezing brings their sides closer together than at the base, where the interval occurs by which they are fixed to the panel. They can be closest to each other at a level near that of the crests after squeezing. After stamping, the sides of the corrugations can be parallel, their crests being roof-shaped, and the crests being flattened by squeezing.
