Abstract

Appts. for stacking sheets or bags, esp. plastic bags for packaging, has >=1 line of pins placed near one of the edges of the bags to be stacked, >=1 pressure bar, which can be displaced towards this line, and is provided with holes for receiving the pins, and a mechanism for controlling the approach to the bar to the line of pins. Forms exactly aligned stacks, and retains the formed stack in alignment until the next operation, thus reducing working time and operator fatigue.
